Thanks to Olga Wilhelmi (UCAR), Scott Shipley (WxAnalyst), Steve Kopp (ESRI) for facilitating the workshop. Twenty-three people from the Atmospheric Data Modeling community participated in this workshop. The objective of this workshop was to discuss future functionalities in ArcGIS 9.3 that are relavent to Atmospheric Science, and to discuss preliminary results from a GIS user survey on users needs and atmospheric data. The afternoon session was devoted to the development of an ESRI Press book on atmospheric science and GIS.
