Disaster Dynamics
Seth McGinnis - ISSE

The Disaster Dynamics game is a four-player virtual strategy boardgame about the interaction between natural disasters and urban planning. Students who play the game learn about hazard management through role-playing, negotiation, and experiencing the sometimes unintended consequences of their decisions. Seth McGinnis, one of the game's two developers, will demo the game and discuss it, its design, and the educational goals of the project.
