Olga Wilhelmi discussed preliminary results from a survey on GIS user needs in atmospheric data and analysis tools.  She had collected information on what data formats GIS users would like to receive their weather and climate data as and how they would like to use it.

Also, Jennifer Boehnert spoke about some of the new functionalities coming out in ArcGIS 9.3.  There are some new netCDF functions, WCS support, new graphings support, and new animations creation functions, just to name a few new improvements.
